When Doug and Susan Casebeer arrived at the Anderson Ranch, the renowned art residency and educational center in Snowmass, Colorado, they had little knowledge that their affiliation and careers would beget an extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary ceramics. This collection was formed, in great part, through the close friendships and collaborations they established at the Ranch. A celebrated artist himself, Doug Casebeer offered visiting artists, those with already established reputations and the up and coming, the expertise, facilities and freedom to take risks and experiment with clay. This exhibition samples work from this stellar collection including pieces by Ken Price, David Shaner, Ron Nagle, Andrea Gill, Ron Nagle, Linda Sikora and Ken Ferguson.

First Friday Reception, September 7, 7-9 p.m.

Museum Hours: Tues. – Sat., 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Closed on University Holidays.
